I’ve been adapting English dub scripts for anime and video games for the last decade. What does that mean? Basically, I get the video and translation for an episode, movie, or video game and then adapt the script for the English voice actors. Usually this means crafting a character’s voice, making sure the dialogue sounds natural, and matching the animated mouth movements—all while keeping the spirit and intent of the original language.

I’ve been fortunate enough to work on some blockbuster titles, but am probably best known for the My Hero Academia franchise, Dragon Ball Super: Broly, Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King, and Spy x Family Code: White. Here is a pretty accurate list of the stuff I’ve worked on.

Talking anime is one of my favorite things to do during school visits, as it’s another way to get students excited about writing—especially since anime and manga have blown up in the mainstream over the past few years. Got a project you need adapted? Shoot me a message!
